Among the most famous AHAs we find Glycolic, Lactic and Citric Acid, while the most used BHA acid is Salicylic acid.
Both categories of hydroxy acids, AHA and BHA perform exfoliating functions, but their activity is distinguished by these aspects:
AHA acid: eliminates dead cells from the outer layer of the epidermis and further hydrates even the deeper layers of the skin. They are ideal for dry, sun-damaged or mature skin without impurities.
BHA acid: on the other hand, they free the pores from excess sebum, preventing the formation of imperfections such as pimples and blackheads. They exert an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action, which makes them particularly suitable for oily or acne-prone skin.
You can use exfoliants that contain glycolic acid along with salicylic acid without any problems: you can use them at the same time, alternate them, or use one in the morning and one in the evening, depending on your preference.
In summer, skin exposed to the sun dries out and thickens. The smoothing action and deep hydration of the WiQo Fluid ensure a luminous and long-lasting tan, also avoiding the formation of expression lines. Many creams, by closing the pores, cause sweating, while WiQo fluid is not occlusive.
Our skin has a pH of 4,7 – 5,75. With the application of the WiQo fluid, the pH is lowered, inducing the skin to perform a sort of biological “gymnastics” to restore it. The skin never gets used to this particular process, so it is possible, indeed recommended, to use it every day, continuously over time.
This is the specificity of the fluid, which, through this daily stimulation, makes our skin always “active”.
